88 panels in a ground-mounted solar array at the North Berwick Water District will help ensure a clean, viable water source for generations to come.
Every year, their 34.84 kilowatt array will generate roughly 43,681 kilowatt-hours of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 75,500 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
The Water District went solar in April of 2018 through a Power Purchase Agreement that allowed them to go solar for no upfront cost.
