Mayfair Farm's solar array sits on the roof of their pig barn.
Mayfair Farm, located in Harrisville, New Hampshire, takes immense care to raise their animals in a sustainable way. They worked with our team in Brentwood to install their solar array and equip their farm with the technology needed to ensure that the electricity used to power their farm is just as earth-friendly!
In March 2021, we installed their 37 kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system, which is comprised of 112 solar panels that sit on top of the pig barn.
When the sun is shining, this array produces electricity that is either used in real-time by the farm, or fed back to the grid where it benefits the greater Harrisville community. Each year, the system will generate roughly 44,870 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 79,900 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
