With 32 solar panels on the roof of their barn, Blue Bell Farm in Bowdoinham, ME has been sourcing solar power for their electricity since 2018. Each year, the system will generate roughly 10,889 kilowatt-hours of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 18,800 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
Blue Bell Farm is MOFGA - Certified Organic, and grows an assortment of vegetables for sale at local farmers markets and businesses.
