Leominster, MA - In the above video, US Air Force Veteran Tim Barry and his wife Jayne talk about their urban homesteading lifestyle and how a transition to solar enabled them to tackle rising electric rates. After transitioning to solar with ReVision Energy, they're now looking into battery charging (a great deal for homeowners in Massachusetts thanks to new incentives) and electric vehicle options.
As part of our Solar Salute program, veterans, active duty service members and reserves are eligible for a $500 discount on solar energy systems, and a matching $500 toward a charitable cause of their choice. Tim Barry elected to split the match to Project New Hope who offer support services to veterans and their families, and to local AMVETS Post 38.
