Operations Specialist
Travis got his start in solar more than ten years ago, with a summer job carrying modules up a ladder and making homemade racking systems. What started as a fun summer job turned into a career, as the solar industry hit full speed in the mid 2000s and provided the option to grow and transform his skills.
A graduate of University of New Hampshire (Associates in Forest Technology and Bachelors in Forestry), Travis's interests range from rock and ice climb to surfing, gardening, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.
At ReVision, Travis has the challenging and exciting job of giving the recently signed projects a technical review and helping to steer them in the right direction, getting them from "can we build this?" to "we can build this!"
This involves interpreting rough designs, ensuring designs meet engineering requirements, working with Professional Engineers and code enforcement officers, and being the liaison between our solar design specialists and our crew out in the field. When our crew shows up to a solar installation and the project gets installed without a hitch, Travis's work was part of that outcome!
