Luke grew up in a small farming community in northern Ohio and bounced across the country before settling in Maine at the end of 2019. He has a passion for slowing down by spending time outside exploring Maine by foot, bike, or canoe with his partner Colleen and their two dogs.
He was thrilled to find the Solar Design Specialist role at ReVision Energy in 2024. Most of all, Luke wants his community members to have access to accurate information around how to transition their lives off fossil fuels and he relishes the opportunity to meet new people and help them navigate their clean energy journey.
Luke spent the early part of his career installing home audio/video equipment with the Geek Squad while getting a degree in English and Creative Writing from Florida Gulf Coast University. The job ended up sticking after college and he installed TVs and speakers from Fort Myers, to Boston, to eventually designing custom home AV systems in Los Angeles. Luke also spent 8 years working for audio company Sonos in a variety of sales and project management roles focused mostly on the custom installation world.
Luke heats and cools his home in Portland with heat pumps and he’s exploring the right solar solution for his home. Transitioning to a clean energy economy is only part of building a more sustainable world and Luke is also passionate about efficient local food and waste systems along with integrating active transportation into city planning.
