Solar Installer / Electrician Apprentice
Jessie grew up in Scarborough, Maine just a few miles from the ocean, which she frequented regularly with her lobsterman dad and brother. She grew up barefoot, always searching for cool rocks and climbing trees. She went on to graduate from The University of Maine with a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Science, focused on sustainability and economics.
After college she became an Americorps volunteer working on promoting energy efficiency in her community through education and connecting people to valuable resources. This was her first glimpse at the intersections of helping people while also doing something good for the environment.
She joined ReVision Energy to continue this type of work, in a more active "boots on the ground" (or, more accurately, the roof!) type of way. She loves being a solar installer and seeing the joy that it brings to customers. She is also a part of our in-house electrical training center and will be a licensed electrician within the new few years.
