Commercial Design Specialist
Guy comes to Revision Energy as a commercial solar designer and works with Maine businesses and nonprofit organizations interested in exploring solar energy options as an alternative to fossil fuels. As a manager and owner of a number of energy businesses in seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine, he brings 25 years of experience to Revision Energy. In 2013, Guy saw the need for cleaner energy solutions through plant-based bio fuels after years of working in the fossil fuel industry and seeing firsthand the impact it had on the environment. His company, Simply Green Bio fuels, was the first bio fuel company in New Hampshire.
His first introduction to Revision Energy was when he served as a Board of Director at an alternative elementary and middle school in New Hampshire. That school is currently producing 95% of its electric needs through solar thanks to its partnership with Revision Energy. His experience as a business owner allowed him to see firsthand how it was possible to be both a good steward of the environment and to be fiscally beneficial to businesses and nonprofit organizations. Guy's partnership with our company was a natural next step.
Guy lives on Southport Island in mid Coast Maine where he enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking and sailing. The outdoors is his playground and his work with Revision Energy will help protect that for the future. One of his life philosophies is to give back to his community. He actively volunteers with a number of different organizations such as Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay Region Resource Council. He also serves on the board of the Southport sailing club, is president of the friends of Southport library and a garden volunteer for the Southport Historical Society.
