Chris McCabe

Raised in Winslow, Maine, and a graduate of Bowdoin College and Maine Law, Chris (he/him) is the Project Financing Counsel at ReVision Energy. Chris’ role as legal counsel for an employee-owned, clean energy B Corp squarely intersects with his personal commitment to ethics, social impact, and environmental justice. His expertise in contract negotiation, communication, legal research and writing, and policy advising are valuable tools in deploying solar, battery, and electric vehicle solutions throughout New England.

Previously, as Founder & CEO of McCabe Law, Chris honed his analytical skills and legal chops, particularly within the cannabis industry. There, he cultivated a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, real estate transactions, and business law, ensuring clients navigated their legal landscapes successfully. This foundation of strategic counsel and transactional law now underpins his efforts to advance ReVision Energy's righteous mission.

At Maine Law, Chris earned his Juris Doctor cum laude, was Articles Editor for the Maine Law Review, and conducted a fellowship for the Maine Association of Public Interest Law. At Bowdoin, Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and theater, did improvisational comedy with the Improvabilities, and was selected for the first annual Lydia Bell Award for Public Service.

In his free time, Chris revels in yoga, the arts and music, sports, travel and exploration, community and culture, and frequent doses of sarcasm and jest.
