At ReVision Energy we have been mission-driven from the start. Our commitment to building a better world isn’t just good for business; it is our business. We are a company that embodies our values in every interaction with our customers, with our suppliers, with our community, and of course with each other.
Being certified as a B Corporation ("B" stands for "benefit") is a validation of those efforts. Our certification places us in a community of over 5,000 like-minded businesses worldwide who all agree that business is not just about profits, but can and should be a source for positive social and environmental change in the world.
Since we first certified in 2015, when we achieved a score of 94.4, efforts to improve our standards have brought our score up over 30 points. In 2018 we achieved a score of 125.5, more than doubling the average ranking for B Corps. We recertified in 2023 with a score of 150, putting us in the company of Patagonia and our solar-powered friends at Badger Balm.
We were also recognized by B Labs as a "Best for the World" company in 2019, 2021, and again in 2022. This means we are in the Top 5% of B Corps scores worldwide, thanks to our worker-friendly policies, improvement during B Corp re-certification, and overall positive impact of our business model.
Every year we strive to improve all areas of our business, not just to increase our B Corp score but for the betterment of our company, community, and this planet.
Certified B Corporations must meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Unlike traditional corporations, B Corporations are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their employees, suppliers, communities, consumers, and environment.
Furthermore, the B Corp certification pushes us to progress as a values-driven organization. It provides a transparent, tangible process that identifies commitments we can make to reach ever higher standards of social and environmental performance, and holds us accountable to those commitments.

Certified B Corporations are leading a global movement to redefine success in business. By voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability, and performance, Certified B Corps are distinguishing themselves in a cluttered marketplace by offering a positive vision of a better way to do business.
Business and purpose go hand-in-hand at ReVision, whether we’re helping a town save money through an offsite solar array or helping individuals reach their dream of operating an organic, clean energy farm.
We also partner with local non-profits to expand solar access to great organizations that can extend those financial and environmental benefits to the communities they serve. Funded by our Solar Impact Investors, we can install solar arrays through PPAs that save nonprofits, schools, and other community organizations thousands of dollars in energy costs for no upfront cost.
Through programs, partnerships, and even getting involved in legislature change, our company leads the movement of creating a clean energy future. Building a better world is what we’ve been about since day one.
For us, being a B Corp means continuously pushing ourselves and our business to be better. When we first achieved certification in 2015, it served as a baseline for continued growth and progress on which we've evolved our benefits, company policies and business strategies.
